I've inherited these from my Grandfather. They look like they've been left on a shelf for quite a while... I guess some clean up is in order...

Since I'm starting out on building a small sailing boat, I thought it might be useful for others to learn from my experience. This will be a log of the building project, and any problems and solutions along the way.

Interesting blog. Thanks for taking the time to write it.
I've sailed for years. Fiberglass only. Started out with a Coronado 15 then moved to a Thistle then to a Ranger 23.
Always wanted to build a boat, but other things kept getting in the way. Life mainly.
A goal is to sail to Hawaii. It's gonna happen someday. My wife won't go, says she'll fly over and meet me when I get there. She's only happy on a boat when she can see the shore.
As someone said to me, it may take 2 years to build a boat, but it will take 2 years not to build it.
Hope you get to Hawaii.
